Biden’s Slipping
The entire country is talking about how much Biden’s slipping. His age is working against him and he is unable to make the kind of tough political decisions that at this moment of his presidency that have to be made. When the special consul’s report mentioned the fact that President Biden was an elderly man whose memory was slipping, it opened up a Pandora’s box of questions that up until now were kept quietly under the table.
As the primaries began, the question that people most people were quietly discussing, was how much has President Biden’s age affected is ability to lead the free world. It’s a well understood fact that being President is a very stressful and taxing job to do. As leader of the free world, events happen around the clock. And here at home, in our current political climate, of deep divisions, the job requires a very strong leader, both mentally and physically.
But President Biden has increasingly cast doubt about his ability to lead. He has very much limited his appearances and has only occasionally held news conferences where he directly talked to the American people. Many have questioned the amount of vacation time he has taken since becoming President. And when he has engaged with the press and American people, he has made many major gaffs. This has led to his mental abilities being called into question that Biden’s slipping.
Then the bomb shell went off when the special consul investigating his handling of classified documents found in his private home’s garage. The consul explained that Biden’s age and mental abilities wouldn’t allow the prosecution to charge Biden with a crime.
Then President Biden did something that definitely should not have been allowed to happen by his political advisors, he went on national television and in his reply to the question of his mental abilities, he stumbled terribly which only made things worse.
So now, Biden mental acuity is front and center and the public is very unsure of his mental fitness. Even his most loyal of his supporters, fear that because of his age, he might not finish a second term if elected. And because he has locked himself into his policy of inclusion about the makeup of his administration, he is unable to replace Kamala Harris, who is viewed by the public as a very weak person and unfit to lead this country as leader of the free world. His replacing her might make some voters more confident about voting for Biden.
This issue has the potential to create chaos within the Democrat party. And time is running out for them to put together nominees that have the potential to defeat Ex-President Trump in the coming election. So while a couple months ago, President Biden was cruising on his way to getting the nomination of the Democrat Party for President, today that’s all in doubt. You can bet that behind the scenes, the Democrat power brokers are looking at all the possibilities as to how to either overcome this issue or replace President Biden as their candidate for President.
So both America and the entire free world are watching how this issue will play out. Nothing is guaranteed and nothing is out of the question as to who will be the next political candidate of the Democrat Party.
